In this 12 month facilitation Support Program we share our experience, knowledge, knohow and expertise in order to support you to dive into sharpening your communication, conflict resolution and facilitation skills.
Some of the themes covered:
When facilitating a self-directed learning environment, the starting point is always the relationship between the facilitators and kids. The goal is to liberate ourselves from the oppressive patterns that show up in our facilitation and replace them with consent-based, trusting and authentic relationships with kids, where collaboration - not obedience - is the objective.
A healthy learning space can only exist when each individual member feels accepted and supported. That's why it's so important that we not only understand the importance of doing this work on an intellectual level, but also face our responsibility as adults and learn how to center relationship with kids.
We understand that this work is hard and know facilitators can use all the support we can get, and so we have created a Facilitation Support program that does just that.
OVER THE COURSE OF A YEAR WE:

Hi! We’re Sari González and Becka Koritz: unschooling moms, podcasters, youth liberation advocates, parent & facilitator trainers & founders of Radical Learning™.
We train and support facilitators to free themselves of adultistic programmings that block equitable relationships with our youth, and true consent-based support from taking place.
It's deschooling work combined with our 30+ years of experience working with kids, coaching parents and training facilitators.
We provide support at the intersection of SDE facilitation, relationship & community building through various kinds of deschooling tools and resources for facilitators.
We also run Explora ALC, an Agile Learning Community in Puerto Escondido, advocating for children’s rights & freedom.
